Following in the footsteps of the original BC Fiddle Orchestra which wa sformed in 1994 for a performance at the Victoria Commonwealth Games, the current lineup of young fiddlers ranging in age from 8 - 17 years have been handpicked by local musician/teacher, Daniel Lapp, from our rich and vibrant local fiddle community. The ensemble plays a diverse repertoire drawing from the world's great contemporary and traditional fiddle cultures including tunes from our own 100-year-old BC Fiddling tradition. It's a Westcoast Kitchen Party whenever the BC Fiddle Orchestra takes the stage!
